So what an amazing week it has been. Personally I went through a very big week and had a few very large obstacles I needed to overcome. I’m very proud of myself for this week because at no way was I going to let these problems beat me.
My sense of drive and determination has been as strong as it has ever been and I credit this all to goal setting earlier in the year.
Have you ever done a real goal setting before? I mean a truly strong goal set where it spans over a few days or even a few weeks. Have you ever found out what you really stand for?
I’m not talking just about goals at work or in the gym but every avenue of your life.
Once a goal is written and the universe has accepted it, its amazing what doors begin to open.
If I was to present you with your ‘rocking chair’ how would you look over your life?
If you’re not familiar with this analogy its when you close your eyes and imagine your sitting in a rocking chair in your later years of life and you look back at everything you have done, everything you have stood for. Are you happy with what you did in your life? Are you happy with your choices and morals?
Set aside some time soon and just put your self in this position. Its extremely powerful and you’ll be surprised at the direction it gives you.
A good friend of mine Mel Houghton recently asked me to answer a few questions for her website Total Transformation Training. Mel is someone who has overcome some incredible obstacles and continues to bloom and compete at the highest level of her sport and hopes to compete at the 2012 Olympics.
Mel understands the importance of goal setting and you can learn more about Mel here.
This week I read an amazing book titled The Russian kettlebell Challenge, Xtreme Fitness for Hard Living Comrades from the prince of Kettlebells, Pavel Tsatsouline.
What an awesome title for a book!
I learnt some incredible new kettlebell training techniques that ill be sharing with you over the next few weeks. It was great to learn more about the origin of kettlebells and how long they have been used for. Kettlebells are the 1st choice and more often than not the only choice for training equipment.
No matter where the Russian forces where deployed as far back as the late 1800’s they always had kettlebells for developing incredible fitness and superhuman strength. Its amazing that only now that the rest of the world is catching on.
In case you didn’t already know, I love K-bells!
I threw a big one out there this week and explained to all of you that the way to burn belly fat while your watching the TV is exercise your biggest muscles and incorporate as many muscles as you can in the one exercises.
Iv listed my top 3 here at what exercises burn belly fat. I always have at any given time at least 1 of these exercises in my training regime.
Let me know if you have any other suggestions.
Well its time for me to love you and leave you. I’m off to the gym for my heavy compound session and also to the supermarket to get my food ready for this week.
Please drop me a line at fastfatloss4life@gmail.com if you have suggestions or questions.
Let me leave you with one of my quotes of the week.
“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.”
- Helen Keller
