Foods that Burn Belly Fat – Salmon
Salmon must be at the top of your shopping list when searching for foods that burn belly fat. 
Not only is salmon an amazing source of protein that is essential for muscle growth, it will help to increase your metabolic rate so that you’re burning calories at a higher rate for longer.
The more muscle you have the higher your metabolism will be and the easier your body will burn calories.
Salmon is also full of omega 3 fatty acids, which support a healthy metabolic rate.
Basically, Salmon is a must have in your diet. You’ll be covering all your bases and maximising your opportunity to burn calories by included it in your meals.
Try and eat Salmon at least twice per week, but ideally eat it 3 times.
Foods that Burn Belly Fat – Chillies
Did you know that your tastes buds change every 7 years? Well before my 21st birthday (3 x 7yrs) I could not stand chilli. I couldn’t even stand Hot & Spicy chicken from KFC, it felt like my lips where burning off!
In short I was a wimp when it came to chilli.
Now not long after my 21st birthday I found that I was enjoying chilli.
Long story short I have chilli on everything now. Eggs, veggies, spaghetti, meats, I eat it as much as I can.
Now how exactly is a Chilli 1 of the 4 foods that burn belly fat?
Well Capsaicin is the active component found in Chillies and known as a thermogenic or heating compound, and that increases the metabolic rate, which as we know helps to burn fat.
Studies have shown that eating chillies can raise your metabolic rate up towards 23% for 3 hours!!
Foods that Burn Belly Fat – Eggs
Now eggs are jam packed with a load of nutrients including vitamins A, D, E and B12, protein, zinc, iron and contain only 85 calories! Back in the day it was said to limit eggs to just a couple times each week.
No according to the Food Standards Agency, there’s no limit to the amount of eggs you can eat in a week as part of a healthy balanced diet. If your keen on
kicking the day off with a couple of eggs we suggest you avoid frying them up and instead serve them poached with a piece of wholemeal toast with minimal or no butter.
In a study of 30 overweight women who ate either an egg-based breakfast (2 eggs) or a bagel-based breakfast, with the same number of calories and nearly identical amounts of protein.
The researchers monitored the ladies eating habits and found that at lunchtime, the women who had eaten eggs for breaky felt less hungry and so ended up eating a smaller lunch.
Even better, over the following 36 hours the group who had eaten the eggs consumed an average of 417 calories less than the group who ate the bagels!
Now this research shows that by eating eggs for breaky you’ll feel fuller for longer so that when its time to eat again your not as hungry.
This is kick ass news if you’re trying to lose weight as you’ll find it easier to cut calories without feeling hungry.
In fact, according to these results you could expect to lose up to 2lb a month, simply by eating some good old googs for breakfast!
Foods that Burn Belly Fat – Cinnamon
Well the handy cinnamon rounds out my 4 foods that burn belly fat. Did you know that cinnamon has been used for donkey’s years for its strong medicinal uses?
The ancient Chinese found that many daily conditions can be cured with cinnamon, including bloating, indigestion, diarrhoea, and the reason you’re reading this, weight loss.
Ok so eating a pile of cinnamon will NOT help you lose a load of weight, BUT, when eaten daily in small amounts, cinnamon can help you lose weight by lowering your body’s blood sugar and boosting your metabolism. 
You’ll be looking at 1/5th of a teaspoon per day. I don’t recommend eating it straight off the spoon because it’s disgusting, iv tried it.
Try adding it to your morning coffee or sprinkle it on your oats.
Of coarse I don’t have to mention to stay away from the combined sugar-cinnamon products do I?
Oh yes also just incase there’s anyone out there looking to design a set of chiselled abs, studies have shown that abdominal fat is far more sensitive to the effects of cinnamon than fat from other parts of the body. Woo Hoo!!
